Managed with Integrity and Care

Our Governance

The Vine Community is a voluntary association guided by our clear and concise Constitution. We are managed by a dedicated management committee that ensures our operations are transparent and effective. This committee includes both executive members (often parents, guardians, or siblings of our residents) and non-executive members who bring diverse expertise to our governance. This balanced approach helps us make well-rounded decisions for the benefit of our residents.

We are proud to be a registered Non-Profit Company (NPC), holding both Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) and Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) status. This means we are committed to serving the public good, and we are also permitted to issue Section 18A donation certificates, allowing donors to claim tax benefits for their generous contributions.

Guided by Compassion and Community

Our Approach to Care

At The Vine Community, we believe in a collaborative and community-driven approach. Our small care home is largely supported by our active board, and the day-to-day operations are overseen by our House Operations committee member and dedicated House Carer.

We strongly encourage the involvement of parents, guardians, siblings, and other family members in our community. Your active participation, whether practical assistance or simply spending time with residents, enriches the lives of everyone here. We truly believe that together, we can create the best possible home.

While The Vine Community is open year-round, we do encourage residents to spend a few weekends or holidays at home with their families throughout the year, especially during the December holiday period. This helps maintain strong family bonds and provides a refreshing change of scenery for our residents.
