At The Vine Community, our house is truly a home because of the wonderful individuals who live here – our Mates! Each Mate brings their unique personality, interests, and spirit to our community, creating a vibrant and supportive atmosphere.

We believe in fostering independence and encouraging each Mate to pursue their passions and participate in daily life as much as they are able. Their joy, resilience, and unique perspectives enrich the lives of everyone at The Vine Community, including our dedicated carer and the extended family who support us. Jo

Jo is endlessly curious and full of warmth. She loves colouring books, tea, Ronan Keating, and chatting about her mom and church. Her bright questions keep every conversation lively.

Cia

Cia is full of joy and energy. She loves music, dancing, singing, and talking about weddings. Always ready for a celebration, she brings rhythm and happiness to every day.

Andrew

Andrew is happiest outdoors. He loves gardening, long walks, and firetruck tutorials, and can spend hours on puzzles. His incredible sense of humour keeps everyone smiling.

Chris

Chris is The Vine’s resident history buff. He loves diving into interesting facts online, listening to Bryan Adams, and lending a hand in the kitchen whenever help’s needed.

Joanna

Joanna is organised and loves taking charge. A big fan of High School Musical and Camp Rock, she’s always eager to help and brings kindness and sparkle wherever she goes.

Paul

Paul is The Vine’s quiet dreamer — humble, thoughtful, and creative. He enjoys movies, books, and sketching, and is famous for his energetic dance moves and love of music.
